YOU’RE INVITED TO THE GALLIM DREAM GALA
Join us for the GALLIM Dream Gala as we honor three extraordinary leaders and gather the community that has shaped GALLIM over nearly two decades. With our milestone 20th anniversary season approaching in 2027, this year’s Gala will celebrate the work that brought us here and help make the next chapter possible.
This year, Kate Lear will receive GALLIM’s Visionary Leadership honor, recognizing her remarkable commitment to the arts and the leadership and advocacy she has brought to New York’s cultural community.
Acclaimed choreographers Sidra Bell and Camille A. Brown will be celebrated as Defining Voices in Dance, honoring two artists whose groundbreaking work and distinctive creative voices continue to expand what dance can be.
The evening will begin with GALLIM’s opening-night performance at The Joyce Theater, featuring two world premieres: a new solo by founder and Artistic Director Andrea Miller, set to “Dreams” by The Cranberries, and GALLIM’s first-ever commissioned work by another choreographer, created by former GALLIM Artist and Batsheva company member Sean Howe. The program will also bring back two celebrated works by Andrea Miller, state and YEAR, both originally created through a creative partnership with A.I.M by Kyle Abraham.
Following the performance, join us for a true GALLIM celebration at PHD Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown!
