About School of Movement
GALLIM School of Movement is a nexus of educators, artists, and students sharing movement knowledge, creative methodologies, and expression.
Founded by GALLIM’s artistic director, founder, and choreographer, Andrea Miller, School of Movement is the evolution of 15 years of GALLIM’s vision of education, artistic practice, and community building through dance.
GALLIM School of Movement brings movement education to people of all ages and levels through the development of technique, expression, creativity and artistic exchange.

The spirit of our approach is based on our belief that movement is our chance for knowing ourselves, each other and our world more deeply. Movement can be a bridge to understanding, searching for meaning, and connection. Movement is a source of joy, discipline and creativity. Movement can make a deep impact on our individual and collective lives. Process, collaboration, and cross pollination with other disciplines are at the heart of our approach.
GALLIM Methods is taught by Andrea Miller, and current and past GALLIM company artists including Donterreo Culp, Marc Anthony Gutierrez, India Hobbs, Gary Reagan, and Georgia Usborne.
GALLIM employs a range of experienced professional guest teaching artists to teach workshops and intensives in dance film studies, wellness, acting, flying low, clown, process, Krump, Vogue, et. al. Recent faculty includes Kayla Farrish, Ebony Williams, Cindy Welik Salgado, Lily Kind, Ben Stamper, Mary John Frank, Brian HallowDreamz Henry, Julia Proctor, Sarah Chien, and Marcella Lewis.
