Julia Glawe, Executive Producer
Julia Glawe brings her extensive knowledge of global dance and arts to Gallim. As the founder of The Glawe Group, she provides strategic planning and interim leadership to individual artists and arts organizations. Previously Julia was the Executive Director of Milwaukee Ballet 2015-2018, and was the Senior Vice President and Director of the Dance Division at IMG Artists in New York and in London for sixteen years. Throughout her career she has worked with dozens of artists and companies including Laurie Anderson, Bolshoi Ballet, Dance Lab New York, Philip Glass, Taylor Mac, Nederlands Dans Theater, and Urban Bush Women. Julia has served on the board of ISPA and Western Arts Alliance (WAA). In 2009, she received WAA’s Leadership Award, its highest honor, for artistic excellence and distinguished leadership. Julia has been a guest speaker for Carnegie Mellon University, Dance/USA, Juilliard, Purchase College, and the Shanghai International Festival.
Chelsea Goding, Managing Director
Chelsea Goding returned to Gallim as Managing Director in January 2019 after having been Gallim’s first Company Manager from 2008-2011. In the intervening years, Chelsea co-founded the Harlem Arts Festival (HAF), a multidisciplinary performing and visual arts festival presented annually in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, NY. She served as HAF’s Director of Marketing from 2010-2016, overseeing all promotional efforts including web, social media, and print design and communication. Concurrently, she held the positions of Education Associate, Education Manager and Interim Director of Education at New York City Center (2011-2015) where she led educational outreach programs that connected over 10,000 K-12 and college students, teachers, teaching artists, and senior citizens with world-renowned dance and musical theater performances each year. Most recently, Chelsea served as Studio Director and Teacher at Sheila Kelley S Factor New York (2016-2019). Chelsea was selected for New York Foundation for the Arts’ Emerging Leaders Boot Camp (2014-2015), is a Pillow alumnus — she was the Presenting Intern at Jacob’s Pillow (2008), and is a former Arts and Business Council of New York Multicultural Intern at Queens Theatre in the Park (2007). She holds a BS in Arts Administration, BA in Spanish, and minor in Visual Arts from Butler University.
Anna McDunn, Company Manager
Anna McDunn is a dance artist and administrator based in New York City. She is thrilled to join Gallim as Company Manager. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Anna’s early training was in traditional Irish dance; She earned her B.A. in Dance Choreography with a concentration in contemporary movement vocabularies from Seton Hill University. In 2015, Anna relocated to New York to complete a production apprenticeship at New York Live Arts. A time as Production Manager for New York Theatre Ballet soon followed, as well as an ongoing role as stage manager for Kate Weare Dance Company. Most recently, she completed an administrative fellowship at Jacob's Pillow, where she served as Program Fellow & Assistant to the Director.
McDunn’s work has been shown in New York, Pittsburgh, and Allentown, PA. She continues to dance and make work.
Hayley McKernan, Communications Coordinator
John Hoobyar, Fiscal Consultant
John Hoobyar has worked as a financial consultant for New York since 2011. He began his finance career at Pentacle, where he managed fiscal sponsorship programming for independent artists. Today, John manages finances for a wide range of arts organizations throughout the city.
